Has anyone been able to successfully use abliterated/uncensored models to OTA (over the air) firmware flash their own SmartHome hardware with opensource projects like ESPHome? Cloud models refuse to help. I've used projects like cloudcutter with known vulnerabilities, but I'd like to flash devices that do not have known exploits. The devices themselves have hardware that could be UART flashed. Is it realistic to use abliterated models for this kind of cyber-security related task, or is it currently beyond the abilities of local models? What techniques people use to rescue their own hardware from communicating with foreign servers and take control? Did you have to set up a Grafana MCP server?
