MSFT Looks Bearish, But HBLD Suggest More Upside, Can $525 Hold?MSFTUSDTPERP PERPETUAL MIX CONTRACTBITGET:MSFTUSDT.PImTesla30Microsoft is approaching earnings, so this is one of the charts I'm keeping an eye on. But instead of trying to predict the news reaction, I'm looking at what price is doing first. On the 1H chart, MSFT has bounced from the $516–$518 demand zone and pushed toward $534 before pulling back. I'm watching a potential hidden bullish divergence on RSI and MACD, which could support bullish continuation if price holds its structure. My idea is to wait for a retracement into the $525–$530 area and look for confirmation before considering a long. The divergence alone isn't enough for me to enter. MY MSFT SETUP: Direction: Bullish Trade Type: Intraday / Short Swing MSFTUSDT.P Potential Entry Zone: $525–$530 Stop Loss: $522.90 Target: $551.95 CONFIRMATION: > Hidden bullish divergence: Price forms a higher low while RSI or MACD forms a lower low. This can support trend continuation, but I still need price confirmation. > Retracement into the zone: I want price to return to the marked area instead of chasing the recent bounce. > ICT entry model: I'll watch for a liquidity sweep around the retracement, followed by a bullish market structure shift or Break of Structure on a lower timeframe. > Target and invalidation: If the setup confirms, $551.95 is my marked upside target. A break below $522.90 invalidates this trade plan, so risk needs to be defined before entry. WHY I'M WATCHING MSFT Microsoft's upcoming earnings are another reason this chart is interesting. Investors will be watching Azure growth, AI demand, and whether its spending on AI infrastructure is translating into returns. The report is scheduled for October 28 after the market close, which means volatility could increase around the event.
