Silver 4H | A Classic Zigzag Takes ShapeSilver US DollarVANTAGE:XAGUSDMehdi_Abbasi_EWPReading time: ~3 minutes Silver’s current 4H structure is increasingly consistent with the possibility of a Classic Zigzag completing the larger Wave IV. What makes this count particularly interesting is the combination of a potential five-wave structure in Wave A, a textbook corrective formation in Wave B, and a possible Ending Diagonal within Wave C. Wave A | A Potential Impulse The initial decline from the peak can be interpreted as a five-wave Impulse. This provides a structural basis for the proposed Zigzag, in which Wave A and Wave C develop as motive structures, while Wave B unfolds as a corrective wave. Wave B | A Textbook Correction The recovery following Wave A displays a three-wave corrective character, consistent with the expected role of Wave B in a Zigzag. This relationship supports the current count and helps distinguish a corrective recovery from the development of a new bullish impulse. Wave C | The Ending Diagonal Hypothesis The internal structure of Wave C is particularly noteworthy. The proposed count suggests an Ending Diagonal, with progressively shorter waves (1), (3), and (5). The price has already moved below the Wave (3) low and reached the 61.8% expanded target shown on the chart. Within an Ending Diagonal, the component waves typically subdivide into corrective patterns, commonly Zigzags. These can sometimes develop into more complex combinations, including Double or Triple Zigzags. This is an important distinction from a conventional Impulse, whose motive waves follow a different internal structure. A Leading Diagonal can contain impulsive subdivisions in Waves 1, 3, and 5, whereas an Ending Diagonal generally features corrective subdivisions in those waves. The diagonal’s geometry and internal wave relationships must therefore support the proposed classification. Gold and Silver | Different Labels, Similar Structural Destination The bearish interpretations for Gold and Silver share a broader objective: tracking the potential completion of Wave IV through an extended corrective structure. The key difference lies in the proposed labeling. In the previous Gold count, Wave A was interpreted as a Leading Diagonal and Wave C as an Impulse. In the current Silver count, Wave A is considered a potential Impulse, while Wave C may be developing as an Ending Diagonal. Different structures can therefore lead to a similar higher-degree interpretation, provided each count remains consistent with the applicable rules and guidelines. What Matters Next? The 61.8% target has been reached, but a Fibonacci level alone does not complete a wave pattern. The internal structure, proportionality, and eventual completion of Wave C remain central to this count. If the Ending Diagonal completes and the subsequent price action develops in a motive direction to the upside, the case for a completed Wave IV would strengthen. If the corrective structure continues to extend, the count must accommodate that development. The current count favors a Classic Zigzag, with the Ending Diagonal hypothesis providing the key structural detail. We follow the wave relationships—not the target alone.
