Good afternoon, everyone. I find myself in a bit of a dilemma that I’d like to share. I have a PS5 Pro, equipped with a disc drive and an extra 1TB SSD, and a few disc games (around 15 that i didnt play yet) I held off on updating past version 14.00, believing that a jailbreak for this version would be released soon. As time went on—and despite limited stock—I managed to find another brand-new PS5 Pro. I figured, "Why not?" Lets have 2 PS5. My plan was to keep my older console updated and the other on version 13.6 (for digital-only use). However, I’m concerned about something: as new games are released, they might require a more recent firmware version, which would mean the "unlocked" (jailbroken) console wouldn't be able to run them untill someone backported that. Is this concern justified? I ended up with two consoles, but in reality, I would only ever play on one of them (specifically, the one with the disc drive, which would be kept up to date).
