Built a free, MIT-licensed torrent streamer for Windows. Paste a magnet, pick a video, VLC opens while the rest downloads. Starts in 567 ms (median first frame). The fun part was bridging two worlds: players want byte ranges, torrents give you verified pieces. BitFly uses libtorrent + a local HTTP bridge to prioritize whatever the player asks for. Seeking and MP4s with metadata at the end made this trickier than it looks. C++20 + Qt Quick, no embedded browser, no account. v1.0.4 adds VLC position resume.
