We’re building Play This Life, and one detail kept coming up while we were researching chore apps: people wanted to remember when they last cleaned something, without turning every missed chore into an overdue pile. Say you plan to change the sheets on Monday but actually do it on Thursday. If you want a week between changes, the next one should be Thursday again. That’s what we’ve been working on. You can tell Ginger, the app’s AI assistant, something like “change the sheets 7 days after I last did it,” and when you last did it. Ginger sets it up, and future repeats count from when you actually finish. You can also group chores by room and see what needs doing.
