AI DevKit - I built a free, local CLI where one AI coding agent runs a team of others

Wait 5 sec.

Side project I've been building in the open. I use Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, and I got tired of being the one copy-pasting between them and checking which terminal was waiting on me. So now Claude Code is the lead. From one prompt it starts Codex to build a feature and OpenCode to write the tests, each in its own git worktree, then makes them review each other. In this run Codex caught a test that didn't actually check anything, OpenCode fixed it, and it ended 25/25 green without me typing again. Free, open source (Apache 2.0), runs locally on tmux on macOS/Linux. Repo: https://github.com/codeaholicguy/ai-devkit Try: npx ai-devkit@latest setup Would love blunt feedback. Is "one agent managing the others" something you'd actually use, or does it feel like too much autonomy? submitted by /u/hoangng_ [link] [comments]
