I tried many habit apps (some of them from this sub, sorry) but at some point I got bored or not motivated enough to open them again because I had to keep ticking the same boxes. So I built QuestRunner, where you give your preferences about your goals or the things you wanted to achieve and it breaks them down to daily to-dos (quests) using AI. If you're bored, shake your phone and it throws a side quest at you. I didn't wanna make it look like another spreadsheet with checkboxes so I decided to go full cyberpunk: red on black, futuristic interface. Maybe a bit much, but I like opening it. This is the first app I've shipped entirely on my own as a designer. And I'm proud of it even though AI coding tools did a lot of the heavy lifting. Testing was humbling, all my 9 testers wanted different things from it. It's free and the AI part isn't paywalled. iPhone only, English only for now. Honest feedback welcome, especially whether the quests feel like they're for you or could be for anyone. https://apps.apple.com/app/questrunner-ai-daily-planner/id6816582880 submitted by /u/k1sh0r [link] [comments]
