Jamie O’Hara was left stunned by one Chelsea fan who claimed that should they lose to Manchester United at the weekend, he wants Xabi Alonso sacked. The Blues have had a bad week with just a second ever Premier League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge came before crashing out the Carabao Cup.Alonso’s start to life at Chelsea has been mixedAFPDespite that, Chelsea are still fifth in the league and have won four of their first eight. They are the third top goalscorers in the division but have conceded as many as Coventry, meaning they only have a goal difference of +2.Chelsea have no European football and will not have a cup fixture until the FA Cup third round in January.Rob the Blues fan lost it on The Sports Bar, and O’Hara couldn’t believe what he was hearing.Alonso given sack ultimatumRob told O’Hara and Jermaine Pennant: “Saturday is doomsday. If we lose to Manchester United – Alonso out.“Alonso out. I know a few Sunday League managers and [Malo] Gusto and [Valentin] Barco are Sunday League players at best.”Pennant then suggested that the reason Chelsea fans don’t like the Spaniard is because he played for Liverpool and thus contributed to dumping them out of the Champions League.Rob responded: “I get what you mean because that was the problem we had with Rafa [Benitez].“Alonso was a fantastic player. But against Tottenham on Saturday, the outlet was Danny Welbeck up top because the ball just kept coming back at us – it was obvious.“We didn’t really look like we were going to win that game [against Liverpool]. But every time Liverpool attacked, they looked like they were going to score.”Alonso is already facing a battle to get some Chelsea fans back onsideGettyO’Hara was totally baffled by what the fan had to sayO’Hara suggested that the defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge has changed the feeling.Rob agreed, saying: “It has affected us massively. Spurs played well against Man United and then played really well against us.“But we made you look like you were going to win the league.”Huge contesttalkSPORT has live and exclusive coverage of Chelsea’s next Premier League game against Manchester United on Saturday, kick-off 12:30pm.Michael Carrick will be in charge for the match despite it initially looking as if he would be sacked. But despite just one win in the top-flight this season, the Red Devils are keeping the Englishman around.Alonso’s opposite number on Saturday is on the brink in his jobGettyMan United start the day in 16th place as they head to Stamford Bridge with a lot of pressure Carrick and the team. But that pressure will exist for Chelsea as well with the defeat to Tottenham was damaging in a lot of ways for Chelsea. The main one being the fact Spurs and the Blues are such big rivals, with their inner-city foes basically unable to win against Chelsea. But that all changed on Saturday, and though there are absolutely no suggestions that Alonso is in trouble, Rob isn’t the only fan who will be starting to have concerns over the former Real Madrid boss.Bet £10 and get £50 in free betsBet £10 on Chelsea vs Man Utd and get 5 x £10 free bet builder bets valid on the below games:Bournemouth vs Leeds – 31st Oct 3pm KOCoventry vs Sunderland – 31st Oct 3pm KOMan City vs Brighton – 31st Oct 3pm KOTottenham vs Crystal Palace – 31st Oct 5.30pm KOAston Villa vs Fulham – 31st Oct 8pm KOClaim your £50 in free bets here.Terms: 18+ New Customers.
