I started taking fitness seriously in May 2026. I was using FitNotes to log workouts and Bend for stretching, and wanted something that brought more of my routine and progress into one place. That turned into Repwarden. I don't have a traditional programming background. I used AI to help build it, and I didn't manually write all the code. But this has been months of deciding how things should work, testing, finding bugs, fixing them, and sometimes discovering that a fix broke something else. An idea can sound great until you're actually trying to use it between sets. I've been using Repwarden for my own workouts since it became usable. The app and my fitness habits have developed alongside each other. It has workout logging, history and analytics, offline core use, and Muscle XP for a bit of RPG-style progression. It's free on Android through Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.baddecisionsink.ironquest Getting useful feedback has honestly been harder than I expected. Friends and family have been encouraging, but that hasn't led to much feedback from actual workouts. I've paid for testing too, and a lot of what came back was too generic to help me decide what to change. I can't say how thoroughly everyone tested it. So I'm looking for a handful of people here who lift and use Android. If you're willing to try it during one or two real workouts, I'd like to hear where it gets in your way. Does logging take too many steps? Are the analytics useful or just more numbers? Would you keep using it, and if not, why? Specific criticism is more useful to me than a polite compliment. It's still something I'm improving, and I'm not asking for a store review or a rating. Feedback in this thread is plenty. If you've built something you use yourself, I'd also be interested in what you learned once other people finally tried it. I know my own routine pretty well. That doesn't mean I've built something that makes sense to everyone else's. submitted by /u/hansultimate [link] [comments]
