Hi r/SideProject! I'm Tushar, and today my side project Flipage went live on Google Play. What it does: You pick a short video, choose the moment (trim to the seconds that matter and set how many pages), pick a style, add a cover, and Flipage gives you a print-ready PDF on A4 sheets with cut lines, plus a flipbook video to share. Print it, cut it, bind it with a clip, and flip. Why I built it: In the AI era, I didn't want to build another digital product. I wanted something physical, something you can touch. A flipbook does exactly that: a memory from your camera roll, and the emotion in it, comes back to life page by page, turning moments into motion you can hold. Good for: Gifts, keepsakes, weddings, birthday parties, celebrations, kids and pets, sports moments, dance moves. Short, clear actions work best. Pricing: Free to start. The Original style is free, other styles cost 1 credit per page, and new accounts get 100 welcome credits. Where I'd love feedback: Is the flow from "pick a video" to "printed flipbook" clear? Which kinds of moments would you turn into a flipbook? We're exploring a print-and-delivery option, so you could order the finished flipbook instead of printing it yourself. Would you use that? Get the Android app from https://flipage.app (iPhone coming soon) Flipage's official account on reddit is flipage_app. Happy to answer any questions below! submitted by /u/tushar_saha [link] [comments]
