I made a CachyOS image for PS5 with the usual fixes already in it. Flash it, boot it, done. Download: https://github.com/abrocoma/cachyos-ps5-guide/releases/tag/image-2026-10-31 Guide: https://github.com/abrocoma/cachyos-ps5-guide How: Download ps5-cachyos.img.xz Extract it to .img (7-Zip) Flash the .img to a USB SSD with balenaEtcher Plug it into a rear USB port or the front USB-C port, run the loader, boot Drive not found at boot after rest mode? Unplug the drive and plug it back in while it waits. It carries on booting by itself. Fixed out of the box: no more black screen at 1080p/1440p, DualSense reconnects, zram swap, Chrome video decode, better boot for slow USB drives. It's the official ps5-linux image plus these fixes. All credit to the ps5-linux project. This build is unofficial, so report problems on my repo, not to them. Tested on my PS5 (13.60, soniciso1's loader).
