hey guys, please dont roast me, im completely new to jailbreaking and never had a current gen console before. my ps5 has been sitting there collecting dust since january 2026, so i think my firmware should be somewhere between 7 and 13, which i assume is in range before trying anything i want to understand the actual risks and precautions. first off, once you jailbreak it do you really have to keep it disconnected from the internet forever, and does that mean free to play online games like fortnite or rocket league are completely off the table also, is basically every ps5 game compatible or is there a list of titles that just dont work. lastly, if money gets tight in the future and i decide to sell it, is doing a full factory reset enough to wipe everything clean and avoid any ban risk for the next person. i know recent exploits are still pretty new and probably not 100 percent stable, so id really appreciate your advice and personal experiences before i make a move.   submitted by   /u/sewan00 [link]   [comments]
