I built this as something to put on in the background and unwind to. It's a quiet lake valley where the day loops on its own: mist over the water at dawn, birdsong and a waterfall by day, a campfire and loon calls at dusk, then crickets, stars and sometimes the northern lights at night. Rain drifts in now and then and clears to a rainbow. **Try it:** https://jaredevans.github.io/3d-world-eagle-lake/ **To make it a relaxing background:** - Press **M** to turn the sound on (it's off by default) - Press **L** for "Look around", a slow, drifting camera tour of the lake that you can just leave running - Or press **F** to follow the eagle on its rounds **Little things to watch for:** - The eagle diving for a fish and carrying it home to its eaglets - A moose wading in at dawn, a bear fishing the stream, beavers towing branches to their lodge - A loon carrying its chick on its back - Two campers fishing at first light, paddling a canoe and toasting marshmallows by the fire - Fireflies, shooting stars and meteor showers after dark Everything you hear is synthesized in the browser (no audio files): wind, rain, the waterfall, birdsong, frogs, crickets, the loon and distant thunder.
