Two months ago SanDisk announced the creation of high bandwidth flash and claimed they could get multi terabyte read speeds with up to 3tb of flash storage on a single GPU. Yet since that announcement everyone seems to have completely forgotten about it. I have yet to see a single person mention anything about it. Nothing positive, nothing negative, nothing at all. I have to keep looking up the announcement to remind myself it's actually a real thing because otherwise I'd start thinking I mistakenly made it up. No one, not even the people here, are hopeful for it or anything. It's like SanDisk announced it and everyone collectively forgot it exists. submitted by /u/Zombiecidialfreak [link] [comments]
