I’m building IndieUnlimited, a free directory for discovering indie books on Kindle Unlimited

Wait 5 sec.

A lot of independently published books are hard to discover unless you already know the author’s name. I’m building IndieUnlimited to give readers another place to browse beyond the usual recommendations. The site is a curated directory of indie ebooks available through Kindle Unlimited. Readers can browse by genre, explore debut authors, read a short description, and click through to Amazon to check the sample and current availability. There’s no account required to browse. For authors, regular submission is free. Submissions are reviewed for quality and eligibility before a listing is published; acceptance isn’t automatic. The site also includes free reading-planning and book-budget calculators. Try it here: https://indieunlimitedbooks.com/browse-all?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=sideproject_introduction I’d appreciate feedback on one specific question: when you’re choosing an unfamiliar indie book, what information would make you more likely to give it a chance—an excerpt, content notes, a clearer genre description, or something else? Disclosure: this is my project. Some Amazon links are affiliate links, and the site describes optional paid featured placements. Browsing and regular submissions are free; Kindle Unlimited is a separate Amazon subscription. submitted by /u/Usual-Armadillo2312 [link] [comments]
