I think it's possible the secular bull market ended with what I've marked as an ending diagonal. Then, we had 5 waves down, followed by an expanded flat pattern for Wave 2. If you have price quotes in the aftermarket, you'll see we actually overthrew the high of Subwave A, completing the expanded flat... a very deceptive pattern which featured consecutive bear and bull traps.
