This is my side project that never ends: a personal blog I’ve been building since April 2025. It holds my long posts about self-hosting and home automation, short thoughts, the anime and books I finish, and my photos. A few days ago I redesigned the whole thing. The rule was simple: only dots, lines, and one amber color. Every page became something you’d find in space. Posts are star trails, short notes are a comet, my watch and reading history are signals sent out from Earth, and the about page is a free fall. What I’m proudest of is how the pages connect. When you click a link, the current page collapses into a single amber dot, the camera follows it, and it lands on a line the next page already has. Clicking a post pulls its star trail out of the list and turns it into the article’s table of contents. It still has rough edges. Mobile needs work, and I’m still finding the balance between atmosphere and readability. I’d love honest feedback.
