Cyber Merit Temple - free browser wooden-fish clicker with temple hall UX (feedback welcome)

Wait 5 sec.

Hey — solo side project by KK. I built a free, phone-first browser page called **Cyber Merit Temple** (赛博功德殿): you pick a nickname, enter a small temple hall, sit among little monk cushions, and tap an electronic wooden fish (plus incense paper, prayer beads, and a short sutra-copy panel) for combo feedback and a playful “merit” counter. You can unlock hall deities as you level, and there’s a light “draw a stick” toy with an on-screen disclaimer. Temple look on purpose; depth is intentionally shallow — it’s a fidget / stress-relief clicker, not a deep game. **Why I built it** I wanted a one-tap “zone out” page with warm hall aesthetics instead of another sterile counter app. Shipping it as a single Workers-hosted page so anyone can open it on a phone with no install. **Stack (brief)** Cloudflare Workers front + Durable Objects for shared hall state; vanilla JS UI; phone layouts (≈390×844) first. **Honest framing** - **For entertainment / cultural experience only** - **Not a religious service** - **Not fortune-telling, financial, or investment advice** - No donations, no account signup wall to try, no paid features claimed here **Play (live):** https://cyber-gongde.markslabkk.workers.dev/?src=reddit **Feedback I’m looking for** 1. First 10 seconds on phone — does it feel scammy, creepy, or “too religious-product”? 2. Is the wooden-fish tap satisfying or annoying (sound / combo / layout)? 3. Anything that should be quieter, clearer, or cut for a first-run overseas visitor? Roast the UX freely — thanks. submitted by /u/Minimum-Departure-14 [link] [comments]
