Gold Breaks Major Liquidity Levels — Will Bears Continue?Gold / U.S. DollarFOREXCOM:XAUUSDFundexTraderWeekly Chart — Major Liquidity Taken Gold continued its bearish momentum, breaking below the previous week's low and the June 2026 low before aggressively moving into the October 2025 monthly lows and associated liquidity pool. The strong bearish weekly close reflects continued selling pressure. However, with significant higher-timeframe sell-side liquidity already taken, the next price reaction will be important in determining whether bearish momentum can extend further. Daily Chart — Bearish Structure Remains Intact Gold established its weekly high on Wednesday after retracing into and rebalancing the bearish Daily Fair Value Gap (FVG) formed on October 22, 2026. Following this reaction, price resumed its bearish movement, breaking below the previous week's low and the June 2026 low before reaching the October 2025 liquidity area on Friday. The Daily structure continues to favour bearish momentum, with lower highs and lower lows supporting the prevailing directional move. 4H Chart — Continuation or Reversal? The key question heading into the new trading week is whether Gold will continue its bearish expansion or begin a recovery after sweeping significant higher-timeframe liquidity. My initial interest remains in the possibility of at least one additional bearish leg. However, following Friday's aggressive decline, a corrective retracement into nearby 4H imbalances would not be surprising. I will be watching how price reacts around these areas and whether the 4H structure continues to support bearish momentum. With the US midterm elections scheduled for November 3 and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, market volatility could increase. These developments may influence short-term price behaviour, but I will allow market structure to guide my directional outlook. For now, my bias remains cautiously bearish, while recognising that a strong rejection from the current liquidity area could challenge this outlook. My focus remains on liquidity, market structure, and key directional momentum.
