Hey all. I'm the co-founder of YouGene. I'd like honest takes from people who aren't my friends. What it does: You upload a raw DNA file (23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA or Living DNA). That part is free. No file? There's a US saliva kit for $199 (normally $299). You get five 0-100 scores: Cognition, Athleticism, Aesthetics, Energy, Longevity. Plus your rare traits, ranked by how rare they are. And a card you can share and compare with friends. It's meant to feel like a personality quiz, not a lab report. It's not medical and doesn't diagnose anything. What I'm trying to figure out: If you have a raw file, would you upload it for this? What would stop you? Which score would you look at first? Are there any other features you would want to see? What questions do you have about your genetics? I'll reply to every comment and drop the link in the comments if anyone wants it. submitted by /u/therhinohunter [link] [comments]
