SILVER Is Lagging Gold. Is the 55.18 Pivot Next?SilverOANDA:XAGUSDTrade-LeanGold vs silver tonight. Same story, different chapter. GOLD • Double bottom at 3,975.65 / 3,978.18 • Back above its weekly pivot (4,053.96) • Up 1.1% today, even with the dollar stronger SILVER • Monday low 53.005, Tuesday low 52.667, briefly under weekly S 0.382 (53.047) • Recovered to around 54.42, back on top of the S 0.184 zone (53.86 – 54.36) • Still below its weekly pivot at 55.178 Silver's map comes from last week's range: high 58.6075, low 53.029, close 53.896. Pivot 55.178, R 0.184 zone 55.99 – 56.50, S 0.382 53.047. Silver tends to follow gold with a lag. Gold has already reclaimed its gate, and silver just reclaimed its floor. My base case is that silver plays catch-up into the weekly pivot at 55.18 and then the R 0.184 zone from 55.99. Wrong if a 4H candle closes below Tuesday's low at 52.667. Does silver catch up with gold this week, or is the lag a warning? Tell me below. Chart: XAGUSD, OANDA. 4H candles, weekly pivots only.
