Keyboard scene with illustrated keycaps | Blender / Cycles

Wait 5 sec.

A keyboard scene we put together in Blender, rendered in Cycles. The last image is a clay pass from the same scene. The Attack Shark X85 keyboard model is from BlenderKit. Our work here was the keycap treatment, materials, lighting, scene composition and animation. We used original artwork from SuperWEIRD, the game I work on, for the keycaps, map tiles and pig keychain. The scene mixes an ordinary keyboard shape with flat illustrated elements. In the animation, the camera moves into the Corruption spreading across the neighbouring keys, then returns to the wide shot. We spent a lot of the revisions adjusting the floating tiles so they would clear the board, backdrop and keychain throughout the camera move. The keyboard is a visual concept rendered in 3D. submitted by /u/Secret-Lab3678 [link] [comments]
