ETHEREUM Is Coiling Under a Locked Pivot. 2,229 Next?Ethereum / TetherUSBINANCE:ETHUSDTTrade-LeanWhat I'm watching on Ethereum tonight: a tight box under a pivot that hasn't been touched all week. The map Last week's range (high 2,526.62, low 2,282.46, close 2,329.87) gives this week's grid: pivot 2,379.65, S 0.184 zone 2,322 – 2,344, S 0.382 2,286.38, S 0.702 zone 2,188 – 2,229, S 1 2,135.49. The box For two days ETH has been stuck between 2,293 and 2,358. The highest print this week is 2,358.38, about 21 dollars short of the pivot. Buyers keep showing up near 2,293–2,297, but they can't get it past the top of the S 0.184 zone. The context ETH/BTC has been sliding all quarter, and Bitcoin is leaning on its October floor. When the leader is wobbling and ETH is the weaker of the two, I don't want to bet on ETH breaking out first. The plan Base case: the box breaks lower, S 0.382 at 2,286 goes, and ETH steps down into the S 0.702 zone, starting at 2,229. Wrong if: a 4H close above the weekly pivot at 2,379.65. Which side of the box breaks first? Let me know in the comments. Chart: ETHUSDT, Binance. 4H candles, weekly pivots only. The arrow shows a conditional scenario, not a guaranteed price path.
