Trading Plan of CHFJPY for the week of 02 Nov.Swiss Franc vs Japanese YenIC:CHFJPYTranquilo1154Overview If you take a zoomed out look at the daily chart of this pair, it is easy to see that the pair was bullish for a whole year, then around Feb 2026 went into consolidation followed by a bearish trend that started in June. In mid Sept. this market started consolidating again and my first thought was that a bear flag may be forming to continue the preceding trend. But to take a closer look for more clarity I studied the 12 hour chart. I now saw: - a double bottom formation (blue shaded zone) - an ascending triangle (flat top at/about 192.150) - an upward sloping triangle bottom. This upward sloping trend line made me realize – the higher lows are a clear sign of a price squeeze and show that the bulls are slowly gaining control. If this squeeze continues to the upside, the price will break out and we could see a new uptrend commence. To put the odds of this analysis being right in my favor, I will take a long trade ONLY upon a retest of the support/resistance line. Trade parameters Entry – I will want to enter with 50% position size, after a retest and preferably upon seeing a candlestick that provides a bullish signal. I also like to get confluence from the 20 and 50 ema. I will want to add more size if price action gives me more confidence in this trade. Stop – below the nearest major swing low and the triangle structure. Target(s) – I have marked a few t/p levels (areas) that can be used to add or reduce risk. Actual price action will guide along the way. Targets will always also depend on the trading style. General comment The situation in the middle-east continues to be uncertain and unpredictable. Proper risk and money management is vital. This is not a trade recommendation
