I built a 30-second traffic check for my side projects. What would make it useful every morning?

Wait 5 sec.

I have several web projects with GA4 and Search Console. Opening every property gives me the data, but I still have to work out which project deserves attention today. I built Plotwake around that decision. Visits, Google clicks and impressions sit together, with 7, 28 and 90 day comparisons. The summary puts source problems and declines first, and says when there isn't enough data to judge. One lesson from the first version: a huge percentage can be a very small change. I don't want a dashboard that congratulates me for going from almost nothing to slightly more than almost nothing. It's open source and I'm the person building it. The public demo has synthetic numbers. Connecting real Google reports needs a one-time Apps Script setup, which is still the least pleasant part. I'm looking for critique from people running a few sites. What evidence would you need before a dashboard could honestly tell you “work on this project today”? submitted by /u/mwarcholinski [link] [comments]
