IIT Guwahati has signed an MoU with Tata Electronics to establish a Centre of Excellence for semiconductor education. This collaboration aims to develop educational programmes that align with industry needs and create skilled professionals. Additionally, the partnership will provide hands-on training opportunities for students at Tata Electronics. It includes developing relevant course content and training faculty from various institutions.
