Starting next Monday, you can do the same,” Borg wrote. The announcement follows concerns earlier this month that Malta’s flu vaccination campaign could face significant delays.Borg had previously revealed that the supplier warned vaccines might not arrive until January 2027 due to international supply difficulties. However, following discussions with Italian authorities, Malta reportedly secured tens of thousands of doses, with the shipment arriving on the island in less than a week. The Health Ministry had indicated that this year’s rollout would begin between late October and early November, with plans for greater cooperation with local councils to improve accessibility.Flu vaccination is particularly important for older people and those at greater risk of complications, helping reduce the likelihood of serious illness during the winter months. Will you be getting your flu jab this year?•
