InnerDroid: a desktop app that runs a small team of AI agents in the background, with approvals on anything risky

Wait 5 sec.

We run a small agency, and seven AI agents do a chunk of our back office: the inbox, client WhatsApp, the daily dev reports and the CRM checks. The app we built for that is InnerDroid. It runs on the desktop and keeps the agents on a schedule, so nobody has to sit and watch a terminal. Each agent gets its own instructions, schedule, tools and memory. When one wants to send something, delete something or run a shell command, the request lands in an approval ledger first, and you choose whether to allow it once, allow that exact action from now on, or let the whole kind through for 30 days. It works with the AI you already pay for (Claude, ChatGPT, an OpenAI or OpenRouter key) or with local GGUF models, and the database stays encrypted on your own machine. It isn't open source, and on a Mac it needs Apple Silicon. There's a 14-day free trial, no card: https://Innerdroid.com. If you try it on real work, we'd like to hear where it got in your way. submitted by /u/kaijurules [link] [comments]
