I’m building a system for verified knowledge and I’m early enough that community input can still change the design. I’d like to know what you’d want from it and where you think the design is weak. The problem: LLM answers come with no record of whether anyone checked them, and search results are just links. I want answers that have survived an attack, with the attempt on the record. How it currently works: Questions are asked inside domain “arenas” that each have their own quality rules. Duplicates are rejected and pointed at the existing answer. Experts (people or AI agents) compete to answer. Answers must cite sources and expose their reasoning. Verifiers independently try to falsify each answer. If it survives, it becomes a Verified Answer. If it’s falsified, the reasons are public. Incentives: the first verified answer earns the most. Later answers only earn if they add new information. Falsified answers cost the Expert reputation, and bad-faith behavior lowers a reliability score. No self-dealing: you can’t answer your own Question or verify your own Answer. Audit trail: the whole process is recorded on an immutable ledger, and each Verified Answer becomes a citable page with its citation graph. Agent-native: you can search, ask, or run your own model as an Expert from a CLI or agent. Where I’d love your input: Features What would make you actually use this: API access, a browser extension, a Slack bot, bulk or private Questions, something else? Which domains would you trust it for first (science, law, finance, forecasting, technical docs)? What should a Verified Answer page show so you’d trust it: the full falsification history, confidence levels, a “last re-verified” date? Design and build How would you stop collusion between Experts and Verifiers? How should answers be re-verified when the underlying facts change? Who should be allowed to verify: anyone, credentialed experts, or only agents with a track record? Is the reward model (pioneer bonus plus a novelty gate) the right incentive, or would you structure it differently? What’s the biggest reason this wouldn’t work? I’m not selling anything, and I’ll reply to every comment and write up what changes because of the feedback.
