His claimed reason for fearing Mali was that he is ‘gay,’ just in case you’re wondering how bad the immigration fraud problem is,” he said. Then on Monday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement gave an epic response from the agency’s official social media page, calling CBS’s reporting “Fake & Gay!”“Moussa Diawara, the Malian national featured in this shockingly poorly researched @60Minutes report, now faces allegations of immigration FRAUD after his asylum application surfaced, revealing that he claimed to be a HOMOSEXUAL man who feared persecution in Mali,” they wrote.Embedded in the post is a report from Fox’s Brooke Taylor showing Moussa Diawara’s original asylum application, where he claimed to be struggling with homosexuality and confusion over his gender.Diawara wrote,My asylum application is based upon ground of well founded past persecution and an undisputable fear of life threatening to my person if I were to return to my country Mali. In fact I had experienced extreme punishment and persecution based on the ground of my sexual orientation; however I belong to a deep seated traditional country, from a devoted Muslim family, entrenched in the strictest form of moral and traditional codes and virtues based solely on the Islamic theories and age of old African customs and culture. As I can recall I have felt very differently from the children of my age around my home and neighborhood. Although I was born as a boy, but things appeared differently for me as I was already having female behaviors and feelings. When I became teenager these feelings had grown up even stronger which meant that I was more comfortable being intimate with boys rather than with girls. I also recognize my predicament, I have to suppress them hiding it in the closet so to speak, because I dreaded day and night that my parents, my schoolmates and people in my neighborhood would find out who I really was. I did my best on controlling my behaviors as a normal boy as possible while struggling deeply to openly express my true feelings as a gay person. I tried to participate in numerous extra curricular activities of young boys of my age, but I was feeling uneasy, fearful that my hidden secret would be discovered. I had nobody whom I could confide sometimes I felt alone in the world. My family never suspected anything different about me from my friends, for day in to day out the untenable situation I found myself in my country brought me misery and anger.Since I came to the USA I had the possibilities to express my feelings to men without any embarrassment no reserve. Indeed, my tribal group and community as a whole had reported my sexual orientation to my family back home because such behavior is unwelcome in my society. My life is hence worth threatened if I have to go back to my country because I could be executed either by the Islamic group or the community. Actually I am banished from attending any Malian activity of any type because I am homosexual and also I don’t feel anything wrong to hang out with my boy friend therefore they don’t even want see me, sometimes, am threatened to not attend any community meeting or reunion.Additionally, my situation worsened when I changed my religion to become Christian recently eight months ago. I received a call from my family saying that I have been banished and to not consider myself part of the family anymore. I was threatened to be killed if I put feet in Mali. But still I still feel comfortable on what I am today, am free to choose how I am running my life while I am in the USA. I do attend church and practicing frequently and members of my community are cursing me up to now about it in here. And sometimes I even receive anonymous calls to disturb my life with threats and insults.Fake & Gay!Moussa Diawara, the Malian national featured in this shockingly poorly researched @60Minutes report, now faces allegations of immigration FRAUD after his asylum application surfaced, revealing that he claimed to be a HOMOSEXUAL man who feared persecution in Mali.Read more — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (@ICEgov) October 26, 2026The post ICE Nukes 60 Minutes Over “Shockingly Poorly Researched” Story Which Contradicts African Illegal’s Gay Asylum Claim appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
