I made JP Essay, an open-source Claude Code skill that turns a question into a researched, revised essay through a structured writing process.

Wait 5 sec.

It works through research, an outline, a draft, revisions, and fact-checking before delivering one final essay. Along the way, a separate AI reader reconstructs the draft’s argument from memory to help spot parts that need clarification. The intermediate work is saved as Markdown files, so you can follow how the text changes instead of only seeing the finished result. JP is free to use. You’ll need your own Claude Code access; model usage isn’t included. The project was inspired by Jordan Peterson’s essay-writing guide, particularly the practice of refining sentences and rearranging paragraphs to make an argument clearer. I wanted to turn that approach into a repeatable workflow inside Claude Code. JP is an independent project and isn’t affiliated with Jordan Peterson. submitted by /u/Sadinha [link] [comments]
