There’s enough friction to keep it in place and prevent flopping or unintended deployment, even after a few hundred actuations. Quick Hands-On OverviewI’ve had the privilege of using the FSA Lite Stab on an RXM chassis over the past month, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve never used a brace on a pistol, and it’s definitely been convenient. Last year I had an intense and invasive neck surgery, which has led to weaker hand strength, and being able to stabilize my pistol with my body instead of just my hands has actually made a huge difference in my precision. I’ve been using my RXM in my Safariland ALS holster, and the brace folds neatly out of the way without snags during my draw.Currently, I’ve put an est. 450 rounds of 9mm 147gr behind the brace, and I have no durability concerns right now. No cracks or warping. I would say there is a very short break-in period in which the spring-loaded lock is stiff; it breaks in pretty quickly. You may notice the metal locking mechanism shears away some polymer material at the hinge during the brace's first few folds and unfolds, but this stops after a while, and the brace locks into place much more smoothly. If you’re looking for a functional, stylish, and reliable brace/stock that gives TP9/MP9 vibes, this just might be the ticket.
