Not falling for the catch-me-if-you-can tactics of a longshot, Gainesway Stables and Andrew Rosen's Emphatic (f, 2, Nyquist–Convinced, by Tiznow) came from just off the pace to hold safe closing 2-1 favorite Miss Monica (Early Voting) at the end of Friday's GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Keeneland.Surveying the front-running antics of Lexi's Charm (Lexitonian) through opening fractions of :22.54 and :45.87, Emphatic shot into an uncontested lead straightening for home and had enough left in the tank to fend off the fast-closing Miss Monica by 1 1/2 lengths.Manuka Honey (Upstart) was third, while Revenge of the Sis (Girvin) rounded out the Superfecta. The juvenile filly is trained by Brendan Walsh, who is earning his first Breeders' Cup victory in the Juvenile fillies.Final time for the 1 1/6-mile test was 1:42.29.Lifetime Record: 4-4-0-0, $1,604,250.
