Solana : A Head and Shoulders Breakdown — Is $79 Next?SOL / TetherUSBINANCE:SOLUSDTpullbacksignalLooking at the SOL SOL daily chart, there is a clear Head and Shoulders structure that has now broken to the downside. Let’s take a closer look at how it formed and why the neckline break matters. After a strong rally, SOL started to lose momentum. The first major peak formed the Left Shoulder, followed by a deeper correction. Buyers then pushed the price higher again, creating a new high around $124. That became the Head. But the next rally was different. Buyers failed to reach the previous high, and price formed a lower peak around $109 — the Right Shoulder. This is where the pattern started to become interesting. Why is the neckline so important? The neckline connects the important lows between the three peaks. On this chart, it also follows a rising support structure. Before the breakdown, this trendline was acting as support. Buyers had managed to defend it several times, keeping the bullish structure alive. But eventually, sellers pushed SOL below it. That break is what gives the Head and Shoulders pattern its confirmation. Until the neckline breaks, we only have a possible pattern. Once price breaks below it, the balance starts shifting in favor of sellers. One important detail: a candle closing below the neckline is generally more meaningful than a quick move below it followed by an immediate recovery. What happens after the breakdown? The old support can now become resistance.]That's why I'm watching the 100–102 area. If SOL pulls back into this zone and sellers reject the price, it could create another opportunity for bearish continuation. Of course, price doesn't have to retest the neckline. It may continue lower without giving a second entry opportunity. That's why chasing a move after a strong drop is not always the best decision. Where does the $79 target come from? The traditional Head and Shoulders target is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the head to the neckline, then projecting that distance below the neckline. Based on the measurement marked on this chart, the projected target is around $79. It's a technical projection, not a promise that price will reach that level. What would invalidate the setup? For now, the right shoulder area around $109 is the key level to watch. A strong recovery above it would seriously weaken the bearish structure. The levels I'm watching: Potential pullback zone: $100–$102 Right shoulder / invalidation reference: around $109 Measured pattern target: $79 The main point here is that the pattern wasn't confirmed just because three peaks appeared. The neckline breakdown was the important moment. Now, rather than chasing the move, I'd prefer to see how price behaves around the broken support. This is technical analysis for educational purposes, not financial advice. The pattern can fail, and the projected target is not guaranteed. Always define your risk before entering a trade.
