Are there any examples of kayfabe plot holes like this? 1999 - Triple H and Stephanie get married 2002 - They split up on screen, and the divorce is finalized at Vengeance 2002 2003 - They’re shown together on screen, acknowledging their divorce (In real life, they get married in 2003) 2006 - Stephanie appears on screen while pregnant, characters alluded to Triple H being the father, but they are not together in kayfabe. 2009 - Randy Orton attacks Steph, Triple H saves her and refers to her as his wife. They’re now once again portrayed as a couple. In kayfabe, did they remarry shortly after their divorce and keep it secret? This was never explained on TV to my knowledge Another example of this was Kane being gross when they unmasked him in 2000, to the point of Jerry Brisco vomiting, but he wasn’t burnt when he unmasked 3 years later. And how did his hair and eyebrows grow back? And if he couldn’t speak before 1999 and lived in an asylum, how was he dating Katie Vick?
