A 22-year-old medical store employee in Rajasthan's Sikar, earning Rs 10,000 a month, found a Rs 1 lakh crore lien on his Kotak Bank account while trying to recharge his phone. His Rs 55,000 savings also became inaccessible. Police and the bank later confirmed a technical glitch, and the hold was lifted.
