Could TOTAL Make a Run Toward the 0.5?Crypto Total Market Cap, $CRYPTOCAP:TOTALTheGemHunterWhat seems to be bearish times for cryptocurrencies may turn out to develop into something else. The potential for another wave up, perhaps? I've been studying a variety of charts tonight that I would like to share. But, first off, the evidence that I'll be presenting does not mean bullish conviction, but rather, bullish possibilities. They are being presented as clues and are not certain to unfold as bullish. TOTAL - 12HR Chart We can see in the published image above that TOTAL is finding support at the 1:2.272 retracement level. A doji candle printed during the last 12HR period and the MZ BTC Oscillator is indicating that this area is/close to a golden bottom. We can see how price reacted to the previously indicated golden bottoms. ETH/BTC Wicking at the 61.8% retracement level and slightly below June '26 high. What I find particularly interesting here is the descending converging wedge. Wedges are often associated with the end or beginning of a sequence, in this case, potentially the end. Wether it's the final part of a corrective sequence, or the final part of an impulsive sequence (Wave 1), there simply isn't enough structure developed to determine that. However, The sweep below June '26 is something to take into consideration here. A bounce from here would indicate strength in ETH compared to Bitcoin. OTHERS/TOTAL - 2Day Chart A well developed bowl structure here. The recent decline appears to have found support at the 23.6% retracement level and has since broken out of the descending channel. The 23.6% level is where handles are potentially formed, ultimately finalizing a cup & handle pattern. A break above the descending channel origin could be evidence that altcoins may be outperforming the top 10 cryptocurrency assets. BTC/GOLD - 4Day Chart Developing what could be an 'abc' zigzag to the upside, or perhaps even wave 3. BTC/GOLD found resistance earlier this October from the August '24 low, as well as the trend channel. It has since then retraced and has swept a previous low and potentially printing a doji candle with ~16 hours until candle close. Although potential higher highs in BTC/GOLD do not guarantee higher highs in BTC, it is another clue worthy of attention. US100 - 12HR Chart US100 is looking bearish, however, it's not impossible that this develops into a 1:0.618 expanded flat correction. And honestly, I believe we would need to see this unfold as such before considering bullish alternatives throughout cryptocurrencies. Maybe not a full reversal here, but perhaps a good bounce from here could result in another wave up in TOTAL. We can see how the 2HR candle closed with a bullish engulf. The next opening could be significant. USDT.D - 1Day Chart USDT.D has found support on a macro trend line, however, a shooting star has printed at the 78.6% retracement level. Even stronger resistance is above at the September high. If these resistance levels can hold up, it could increase the odds of a wave up in TOTAL. Or perhaps an evening star pattern on the 1D chart here would be a significant clue, but that may be too much to ask considering there is ~16 hours until candle close. BTC.D - 12HR Chart Sweeping the August 20th high with two shooting stars and RSI bearish divergence showing. A significant drop from here could suggest capital rotation from BTC to altcoins. PYUSD.D - 24HR Chart A large wick through the 1:1.618 extension, and so far, PYSUD.D is dropping, potentially signifying stable coin distribution. It's possible that wave 2 of 5 has printed here. However, there is something about this structure that warns caution. A potential inverted head & shoulders pattern. We can see the potential left shoulder and head formation. So, a key level of support to watch here is the 61.8% retracement level with respect to the 78.6% overshoot, around 0.09-0.10%. A significant turn around in that area could suggest that an inverted H&S pattern is potentially printing, and could negate the Wave 2 of 5 interpretation (a break above 0.1308%). Conclusion So, considering these multiple scenarios, it would be fair to say that there are some clues that could suggest another bounce. However, it's important to also consider other alternatives simultaneously, as well as the key support levels mentioned throughout this publish. I find that PYUSD.D could potentially offer a very useful clue; a potential inverted head a shoulders pattern, and an invalidation level (0.1308%) that could suggest further up for PYUSD.D if that level is breached. Good Luck, and I hope that this analysis finds you in good time and could be of use. -Not Financial Advice-
