Where I'm from they acknowledge the spectrum so wildly its really easy to get diagnosed as long as you're a man or under 18, and because "you can't be mean to me I'm autistic" is being pushed by bad types like oop there was a massive flock to the resources in the last few years to get permanently written off work for being diagnosed, and there's been a massive influx of people screaming at us about how we "can't treat them this way" (asking them not to scream obscenities at staff) because they're autistic.
