Eli Junior Kroupi has been one of the top strikers in the Premier League and was the best-scoring teenager in the competition last season. At the end of that term, Arsenal wanted to sign him, but he opted to remain at Bournemouth and then suffered a serious injury that still keeps him out of action for Bournemouth. He is still not back, but Arsenal continues to keep an eye on him as a player to sign and improve their team when the season ends. The Gunners may have to make that happen in January because they have serious competition, and Fichajes says Barcelona wants to sign the Frenchman.Arsenal’s Interest in KroupiBarcelona see him as one of the top young strikers on the continent and would love to add him to their squad, as they have given up on signing Julian Alvarez. Arsenal wants Alvarez too, but it will be easier for them to sign Kroupi, so they will do their best to beat Barca to sign him, which will be tough. The Frenchman’s talent is not in question, and his goal-scoring record speaks for itself, but the competition for his signature is fierce. Arsenal’s interest is genuine, but they are not the only club monitoring the situation. The Battle for His SignatureThe report says the Catalans will do all their best to add him to their squad and make him an important member of their team in the coming transfer window. Barca signed Gabriel Jesus in the summer, but he is not who they truly wanted, and Kroupi could bench him in Catalonia. The striker’s injury is a concern, but his potential is enormous, and the big clubs are circling. Arsenal’s need for a striker is clear, and Kroupi fits the profile. The fans will be hoping the club can get the deal done. The coming weeks will show whether Arsenal can beat Barcelona to his signature, as the race heats up. Kroupi’s future is uncertain, but a move to a bigger club seems likely. The January window will be key._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
