Student activists affiliated with the Students' Federation of India gathered and marched towards Ramlila Maidan. The joint protest aims to call for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over electoral roll irregularities. Opposition leaders such as Rahul Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee are expected to participate in the rally. Meanwhile, the BJP is organizing a separate march in West Delhi to commemorate the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
