Hello everyone, As I did last year, I collected the votes from the 100 Ballon d’Or jury members and put together a few stats that might interest you. Kane received 40 first-place votes compared to Mbappé's who only got 23. Kane was left out of only 2 countries (Mexico and Ivory Coast), while Mbappé did not get any points from 3 (Ukraine, Scotland and Greece). The voting was geographically divided: Europe strongly backed Kane over Mbappé (19 first-place votes to 8). CONCACAF gave Mbappé zero top votes (5 for Kane), and even the OFC went 2-for-2 in favor of Kane. African countries, meanwhile, tilted toward Mbappé (9 to 4). Former Ballon d'Or, Dembélé received zero first-place votes but still appeared in 75 top-10 lists. Spain did not vote for a Spanish player in first place, unlike the English, French, Argentine, Moroccan, and Georgian voters.
