What I learned in my first month after launching (real numbers, no wins to brag about)

Wait 5 sec.

My co-founder and I launched our first product a month ago. Here is what actually happened, good and bad. The numbers: - 65+ users - 70 to 95 visitors a day - $0 revenue What I learned: Removing one step from signup helped more than any new feature we added. People take free things fast. Getting them to pay is a totally different problem. Replying under other people's posts got us more reach than our own posts. We built 30+ features. Most users only touch 2 or 3 of them. Marketing should start the day you start building, not after launch. Month two goal: build less, talk to users more. If you are in your first month too, what has been the hardest part for you? submitted by /u/StressConsistent2030 [link] [comments]
