Quick status first: Portico is now in invite-only public testing. It's free during testing, and the first 100 people in get founder pricing ($1.99/month or $19.99/year, for as long as they stay) once paid plans start. No card needed now. The backstory: my work calendar is Outlook, my personal one is Google, my family calendar is iCloud, my tasks were in Google Tasks and Todoist, and my notes were in Keep and Upnote. Every morning meant opening multiple apps to figure out my day. So I built the one app I have been searching for… What it does: Today: your meetings from Google, iCloud and Outlook, your tasks (including overdue), a running daily log, and any notes for that day, all on one page Tasks you type in real words: "call Sam friday at 9am ’@work !!" sets the day, time, list and priority Notes in plain Markdown, with tags, templates and checklists. You can optionally sync each note as a file in your Google Drive. Notes for events: open an event, tap Add note, pick a template, and it's filled in with the name, date and attendees On a computer, an hour-by-hour week where you drag tasks into open time Works on web, iPhone, Android and any computer (add it to your Home Screen; App Store and Play Store versions are coming) No AI features, by design. Your data isn't used for anything but showing it to you, and you can download everything or delete your account any time. Try the demo, no sign-up: demo.porticoplanner.com Ask for an invite: porticoplanner.com (tap Get started; sign-in is with Google) I'd really like feedback, especially from anyone juggling multiple productivity apps. What would make you switch, and what's missing? submitted by /u/300RepFitness [link] [comments]
