Frustrated with clunky studio apps and parents ignoring portals, so I built a lightweight tool for my own piano lessons

Wait 5 sec.

Hey everyone, I teach private lessons and have always struggled with studio admin. I tried spreadsheets and some of the bigger studio management platforms, but found them overly complex for my setup and packed with features I never used (and parents rarely logged into the portals).. Mostly, I just wanted to: Mark weekly or term payments in 5 seconds between students. Send quick lesson recaps / practice notes straight to parents via WhatsApp with audio clips without needing them to download an app or remember a login. Keep a simple, clean timetable. So I ended up building a clean web app for my own lessons: https://musicteachingpal.com It’s completely free to try out for 14 days. I’d love to hear how other piano teachers handle these parts of your studio, and if there's anything obvious I’m missing that would make your teaching week easier! submitted by /u/Adorable_Duty_7202 [link] [comments]
