I'm not a developer, but I used AI to build the console-style launcher I wanted for my living room PC. Looking for beta testers

Wait 5 sec.

Quick heads-up: I'm not a developer. I work in sales, and I used AI coding tools to build something I personally wanted for my own setup. I'm sharing it because others might find it useful too. The problem: a PC hooked up to a TV is great until you need a mouse. Launchers are scattered across Steam, Xbox, Epic, and the rest, streaming apps don't work with a controller, and the Windows desktop keeps showing up on the TV. What I built: Couchfront is a full-screen launcher you run entirely with a controller. It finds your installed games across eight PC stores and puts them in one library. It has tiles for Plex, Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming apps, plus a quick menu for volume and power. A splash screen hides the desktop when apps switch. How I built it: I designed it and tested every build on my own HTPC, and AI coding agents wrote the code. It's on v0.4.3 after a lot of test-and-fix rounds. What I'm looking for: Beta testers with a Windows 10/11 PC on a TV and a controller, especially with different GPUs, controllers, and game launchers. Honest feedback. Would you use this over Steam Big Picture or Playnite, and what's missing? It's free. Comment or DM me if you want builds. The images are design mockups of where it's headed. submitted by /u/mouthpoop_yum [link] [comments]
