I wanted a voice assistant that was more powerful and intelligent than Alexa, while keeping everything as much as possible within my home network. At the same time, I also felt the need for a "family ChatGPT". Ambrogio allows you to create and connect agents to services within a home lab. Any mcp server can be connected as an agent. My current agents: - home automation manager (Home Assistant) - music playback manager (Music Assistant) - online researcher - researcher for my home cloud documents (OpenCloud) - weather forecaster (OpenMeteo) - chat history memory searcher (Built-in) Clients: - cli and web chat - voice satellite using a Raspberry Pi 3B (it works as a music player too) Supported LLM providers: - OpenAi, Anthropic, Google, Mistral and any remote/local openAi compatible API provider Supported language: - Almost any language, Italian and English in default configuration Other features and notes: - embedded chat history memory search and indexer - fully local configurable STT, TTS, Wake up and VAD. - everything is configured using simple JSON files - pre built docker images for every module What's missing: - a mature chat web client - a native mobile chat client for Android and iOS - an authentication and multi-user management system - support multiple languages by default License: MIT https://ambrogio-app.github.io/ The code follows the clean architecture pattern and lets you easily replace default libraries and implementations.
