Contemporary abstract artist Aldo Rinascente is choosing intuition over algorithms, putting raw human emotion at the centre of his creative process.For Rinascente, one of the biggest turning points in his career came not through an award or major milestone, but through the decision to step outside his comfort zone and fully trust his instincts.At a time when social media increasingly shapes how art is consumed and promoted, the artist says he deliberately avoids creating with algorithms in mind, instead focusing on genuine expression.He also sees artificial intelligence as an opportunity rather than a threat, arguing that technology cannot truly reproduce the imperfections, vulnerabilities and emotions that make human creativity unique.Mistakes are also central to his process. Rather than seeing them as setbacks, Rinascente uses them as a way to rediscover both himself and his artistic medium during more difficult periods.
