Following a chopper crash in Joshimath, new regulations have been implemented by the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority. Pilots will now need separate permissions for every flight segment as directed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. A co-pilot will also be mandatory on Char Dham yatra helicopter flights to enhance safety measures. Weather conditions at the time of the crash are under investigation, along with pilot communications.
