I’m an indie developer from Portugal building KYNIO, an Android app for fasting, meals, water and activity logs. The main decision was to let people use it without creating an account. Health logs are stored on the device by default; Google sign-in and cloud sync are optional Pro features. It’s built with Expo/React Native, SQLite and Drizzle. There’s also optional photo/text meal analysis through an online AI service, with editable estimates. One piece of feedback I received was that there was too much information on each screen. That has pushed me to simplify the main screen and keep the fasting timer as the focus. The latest update is under Google Play review; the current public version is already available to try. I’d like feedback on the product’s focus: does keeping fasting, meal and water logs together help, or would you prefer a smaller timer-first app?
